 Advice From The Police
I was visiting my friend and she has 2 dogs a St Bernard and a Shih tsu. She has a sign in her window saying Beware Shih Tsu on duty and one that says Beware St Bernard on Duty. The police car stopped in front of her house because Brandy was outside playing and they were watching her play catch with my friend's brother. One of the officers told my friend that if she was smart she would not advertise that she has a Shih Tsu in her home. He said it wasn't too bad with the St Bernard sign but when you have a small dog it's not wise to broadcast it you never know. I have a sign in front of my fence saying Careful Basset Hounds at Play but I don't have anything mentioning my Shorkie or my Yorkie. We have a 6 1/2 ft privacy fence which would be impossible to climb over and it's also pad locked on both sides but I still won't make anyone aware that we have the two little dogs. The officer said alot of people put those signs in their windows and it's really a foolish thing to do especially if you live in a private home. Just thought I would pass it on. |
