I hardy call that over weigh..lol... Izzy was that weight at around that age.. she is 1 year now and weights between-7-8 lbs...and she is not over weight at all... Your puppy is going to need these calories to grow. Puppies (like babies) are going to be alittle plump. But yes see what your vet says
