I get just the opposite. I have a tiny girl and take her with me alot for her safety and health. If no one will be here then she goes. With the other 5 running around they dont mean to trample her but they just do when they hear a noise and she could get seriously hurt. People in public see her and ask if she is a "teacup". I have spent many hours educating people that there is no such thing, that it is just a marketing ploy for unethical breeders to suck the uneducated public out of their hard earned money for a little sickly dog. I then go into how much I have spent on Emmas vet care in the 18 months since her birth (well over 3 grand) not counting the hours and hours of time getting up with her every 4 hours round the clock till she was 6 months old to feed her. No vacations, no family trips, no going to cousins weddings 3 hours away.... and on and on. They stare at me with a look of a deer caught in headlights, then giggle and say I still want one.

The many hours of educating thinking that I may make the difference once in a while, I hope.
