I forgot to mention that he also has caulifower ears. In other words, his ears were so infected that it caused hematoma's which burst. His ears are a little deformed, so his hair is long so you cant really notice it. In my opinion if a person was a responsible owner, the dog would be on HW preventative, neutered and his ears wouldnt be like this. Of course, the owner didnt ever claim him.
I was glad the lady apologized. I was definitely hacked when she started attacking me, when I KNEW Henry did not poop. Ugh...it was crazy. But, I put a Thank you Card on her door and explained that it was ok, mis understandings happen every day. I am not one to hold a grudge if one apologizes, I thought that was very sweet of her.
We are actually wondering if the Australian shepard was attacked by something else. IT was so brutal. I guess we will never know. The boxer was also bleeding. He has a lot of swelling, nothing major. He got to come home today.
They decided not to admit my FIL he feels fine now. I think you are right, it was a good thing he had this episode to warn him. THey are doing all kinds of tests today and tomorrow. |
That is so sad, I really wish there was a way to inform breeders how their little dog ended up. I think mandatory microchips would really help breeder learn what types of people are getting their dogs. I hope the owners never get him back, but when it's cheaper to buy a new dog than fix the old one, we have a problem.
