I read that to but Keally was one of the worst cases. My vet said they had dogs on it for many years and they lived long lives. If she was taken off the metronidazole she would get bloody poop and dehydrated. I was glad we tried the budesonide because she did not have to take the other drugs. I think that the metronidazole probably could of caused this and it was sad we had no other choice. I am glad we had her 12 1/2 years but still wished she could of been with us longer. Oh your yorkie is a little doll in your picture. We have Kinder now and what a joy she is. We love her so..... much she has helped us through our loss.
