To be honest, whenever any type of bloodwork needs to be done, the vet takes my dogs to the back??? So I don't see what happens to them. Stupid probably for me to allow this, but honestly I trust my vet to do what's best for my dogs. I have been using her for many many years and feel totally comfortable.
When my son was around ayear old, our pediatrician said it was a requirement to have them tested for lead. Well little did I know that it was going to be one of those blood tests. The stupid technician did exactly what you explained happened with your dog. I wanted to die. My poor little baby was crying his heart out in my arms and I was not able to do anything to help him. Needless to say, when my daughter turned one and the pediatrician said I had to have this done for her - I did not do it. I mean where do we live that there would be lead circa 1950s??? NO! So I didn't have it done. |
