I would try Espree Hypoallergenic Coconut Shampoo. It is all natural ingredients, lathers nicely, has nice fresh scent (nothing flowery) and should help with any itching. I use Minksheen for the most part but I also rotate in a couple of others including this one. I also like Esprees Silky Show Shampoo and their Luxury Remoisturizer. It almost makes Ben too soft!
He has very silky hair and if it gets too soft it lays a little on the limp side but feels sooooo good! But if the Minksheen is drying a pup, rotating some of the Espree products in or just switching to them for a while should do the trick for you.
