I'd discourage her not to move her pups at all. I'd be afraid she'd hurt them.
My girl tried getting into my bed to go to sleep the night she delivered her pups. I put her back in with the pups and stayed with her for a long time. She just wanted to be close to me but she realized she needed to stay with her babies and it didnt become a problem.
Could you sit on the floor next to her whelping box instead of sitting on the sofa? |
