My husband has never been much of a dog person. And when we would go to our camp in the summer and our neighbor would always bring their little dog with them. They take him everywhere. My husband would always laugh and shake his head when he would overhear the guy saying Daddy's baby this and Daddy's baby that. My husband would remark, "If I ever say such things or act that way, just shoot me" Well, now we got 2 yorkies and all he says is Daddy's Babies this and Daddy's baby that. He hands feed them. They refuse to eat theirselves because of this
In fact now as I type he is hand feeding them their dinner which is chicken,sweet pototoes and rice
I always laugh at him and ask him if he wants me to "shoot" him yet for acting this way
He says he just never would have believed that he would love them and be so attached to them like he is.
