IKWYM about the can of soup or soda.....it is like saying the most important factor is size, above health, good breeding, history, structure, etc.... I just tend to cringe when I see it.
I think websites can be good too but have yet to see a good breeder actualy selling from them. That is sort of a red flag. Anyone who pay pals/credit cards out their puppies without researching the potential owner does not care enough about their puppies. It should make the new owner ask themselves what other short cuts have been taken.
Some sites provide a lot of great information and include an application that the breeder takes into consideration when choosing new owners. The application is usually their initial step only. You can tell by reading through which ones are particular about where their pups go. Those are usually the good breeders.
