We are definitely learning about each other! As long as I either take him outside or right to the pee pad when he wakes up, he will go pee on the pad! and as a bonus!! sleep through the whole night!! When we are home, we take him outside quite often, he likes it and I like taking him out.....but at 4 or 5 in the morning, if we don't feel like taking him out....I just take him to his pee pad that is always in the same spot inthe kitchen and he goes there! This morning, he even went poop close enough that I could slide the pad under his butt for the landing!! LOL, I praised him and gave him a treat which he happily took (but then put down and wanted to go back to bed LOL) I think he knows now that if he is good and uses his pad or outside, he can sleep in bed with us for the last hour or two before we get up to go to work. Its so much fun watching a dog learn!!
