Hello everyone, I am very excited to have found this website. I have a place to brag, ask questions, and share stories. My baby yorkie and I are from NJ. Her name is Cookie & she is 4 1/2 months & weighs 2.8 lbs., i guess that's about right. She is adorable, loving and very entertaining.
Well we are going camping this weekend and I have questions...this is my first time camping w/ her or w/ a pet for that matter. We will be camping in tents but I'm kind of hesitant to just tie her up at our campsite and I'm sure carrying her around all the time is not going to work either. I need advice, suggestions, experiences, etc. I just started taking her out to the backyard and for walks around the block so I know she likes the outdoors. She looks like a bunny hopping around in the grass!!
Of course she is very curious so I wouldn't want to let her roam free at the campsite either. I was thinking of getting one of those fenced off playpens for doggies?? This way she'll be outside but I can keep an eye on her when I can't hold her or have her on her leash. Any ideas to calm my "worried mommy" mind. Thanks in advance.
