Some say it is, some say it isnt.. do as much research as you can about the subject and then do what you feel is right for your pets. Alot of people beleive the higher the protien/fat the better because dogs were meant to eat all meat diets and not grains. I am one who is on the fence with that theroy (sp?) I have done lots of research on my own and Im still not totally convinced.
Acana is on the lower end of the better foods as far as fat and protien goes but I still cant feed it to my dogs. I have 2 that couldnt eat it, made them ill. It is a great food, great company, and alot of people on here feed it and have had no problems at all.
