Does anyone drive a hybrid? I would like to get an SUV in the next couple of years (hoping my car will die so I have an excuse lol) and I've been looking at hybrids... specifically a Ford Escape. We live out of the city that we work in, so we have about a 20 minute highway drive followed by about 20-30 minutes of driving in the city every day. I'd like to cut back on gas however possible, and I also like being environmentally friendly!
A few months ago, a friend of ours visited when she had to come up for work. She took a work vehicle, and chose their new hybrid car. She said it was REALLY weird to drive and she'd never drive a hybrid again! So I'm kind of wondering how anyone else found it to drive and if it's hard to get used to and if the fuel savings are worth it
