So sorry your little one had a broken leg! I just went thru a scare with my pup, Annie, but she didn't have anything broken. If it was me -- I would take the first advice given -- get an orthopedic specialist's opinion. If he says your little one needs surgery, then I would do it. Might have to get a payment plan going. They may say to wait and watch -- that is what the ortho doc recommended for my son (human son) with a separated shoulder. He may have to have surgery, but they wanted to see if it will heal on its own. So we re giving it til Christmas -- if there is still pain, he will have surgery. I don't know if a broken bone can do this, but I would ask.
