You know Nana, I have been giving a lot of thought into what you wrote about shop owner vs. non-owner. That makes perfect sense to me! Maybe a Christmas tip, but real sound thinking there.
One of the ways that we try to "help" out the owner is by never using a credit, check, or debit card. We generally write a check. The reason is so that the shop owner doesn't have to pay the processing and transaction fee. Those can run between 1-3%.
