The divider trick is a good idea.
I did mention this to a trainer friend of mine today, he indicated that the size could be an issue.
Most dogs seem to like crates that just give them enough room to turn around in and lay the opposite direction.
Heck, I have found two of ours in the small animal crate all layed up on top of each other..
..it right beside a massive dog bed that I would sleep on it's so comfy. Sometimes I really would like to know their thoughts.
