I had the same problem. My father and son never got along. I first was going to sell all the pups, then I had just one left and was not crazy about the one who wanted to buy him. So, I just said he was staying. Kept him for a few more months, but the older he got, the worse he and his dad got along and they tried to out-mark each other (something my dad dog had never done before). I was not sure at the time if I wanted to neuter Ben (dad) so I decided, with much regret to rehome the puppy with my DIL's friend. I have missed that little guy though! He was so sweet and loving, the last of my hand-raised litter. Ultimately I have neutered the dad anyway, so I wonder if I did the right thing. If I had neutered them both, they probably would have gotten along eventually.
