Did the winner of the prize/coupon speak to the vendor about this and mention that this isn't a very nice way to handle their business here? Perhaps the vendor and prize winner can work something out, I would hope so. I hate to see more drama and members leave over another squabble that could possibly be worked out, if everyone uses some common sense and decency.
I am one of the vendors that donated a prize and will have to ship my "not so light/small prize to Canada., the shipping isn't going to inexpensive. Did I think about that possibility of the winner being from Canada, when I donated - No, I didn't....but, in no way do I expect my winner to incur any cost to receive her prize....it wouldn't be right!
