Dry/sticky can mean dehydration. It's always good to check capillary refill time if you can do it safely. Heart rate and respiration within normal limits? Any temp? I wonder if something did just in the back of her nose. Very weird. I think all you can do is make sure everything is within normal limits, and if not, go to the ER.
Fluid in the lungs maybe?? Did the vet listen to them?
