I typically do not push my coconut oil brand on anyone in discussions such as this, as there are many other brands of coconut oil out there. There are differences, and again, it is up to the consumer to do the research and buy what is best for them. THANK you for all the info you shared! Incredible information on tryglyceride levels. Lots of people, unfortunately even VETS dont understand coconut oil, just because it's a saturated fat. What they dont' know its a medium-chain fatty acid and is metabolized in the body differently from the long-chain fatty acids of saturated fats (animal fats). Sorry but lots of vet out there are clueless about nutrition and only know what dog food companies tell them. YorkieMumma, thank you for your informative website!
