You know it is very difficult to get the courage to speak out when you honestly feel a YT vendor's product has not met expectations to start with. Why? Because a few will always try to fight against it out of loyalty, some that haven't even TRIED the product! It is fine to come back and say you like the product as some have done, but this thread is for REVIEWS!!!! It is not for the vendor themself to come and try to take over the thread. You should use your advertising threads to do that -- NOT the review. I don't even think the vendors should be allowed to come back into the review threads at all, myself. It is just not professional. This should be a place to safely say what you think about a product -- but it is not -- at least not when it is a YT vendor. We might as well do away with the folder completely. I have been told this is what always happens if the vendor is a YT member. It is not an honest review thread when people are afraid to say anything negative about a YT vendor.

I tried my best to respect this vendor, complimented profusely with admiration for their entrepreneurism. Those of us who do not like the product, should be able to have a thread to review that. Then when other customers do like it, they can post about their positive experience. Then we have a nice review of both postive and negative WITHOUT the vendor. We know you like it! JMHO!!!

I do think you should remove your advertising from this thread though. That is going too far.

I encourage them to write a review, but no one will ever do it because they don't want to create drama. I love reading reviews of products, if the review is an actual critique and not just a slam job, things that are important to others might not be important to me, and the details of someone's experience can be very informative. No one should ever be criticized for writing a review, otherwise, the review section just turns into another advertising section.
I agree with both of you. Reviews should be used for just that reviewing a product. However, a concerned vendor would follow up with those that are dissatisfied with a product and ask why and what they can do to either change the product and/or offer a refund.

When providing a product to the public, a person should always keep in mind customer satisfaction. The customer can make or break you.
