And, I would like to once more address the pH issue, since it has been nagging at me. There are many more things at play on the skin than simply pH level. A wide range of pH levels are perfectly safe (up to a little over 10 and down to below 4) - there really is no reason to choose one product over another based on pH level alone. It's really the free alkali and in poor quality soaps that make them harsh. Again, I mention the pH level because no one else really does, and it's good information to know.
Thanks for answering my question.

But, as you know I groom and exhibit yorkies, and pretty particular on what I use on my dogs when I'm growing coat, I do find that it's not a one shoe fits all. But, just might give it a go with my dogs that are already championed and cut down.

A few years back Pet Silk was the rage and the preferred shampoo/conditioner for most exhibitors. The reason was is that they addressed every coat texture, PH known to exhibitors. Then they changed the formula and cut back on the wide range of product. This led to a multitude of skin problems on dogs. Hence the popularity of Pet Silk went by the wayside.
