I'll second this one! I completely agree with Mardelin.
I had always wanted a female when I got my first dog years ago because I believed the myths. Today, now that I've added two boys to the house...I know better. They are truly momma's boys.

I wouldn't let the sex of the pup make that much of a difference in your decision. There are so many other factors that are much more important and significant.
