I have been raising yorkies for 14 years and I have always fed my pregnant mommas a puppy food throughout their pregnancy and afterwords. I do not believe in supplementing the diet during pregnancy other than the puppy food and a little canned food. Over supplementing or under supplementing can cause certain birth defects.
