I'm so proud of Tallulah I'm beside myself. This morning I caught her twice getting ready to piddle on the floor - both times I quietly said "No, Tallulah. Use your potty pad." she gave me her sideways mischief look and moved right to the pad. She used it a third time without prompting before she went to Yorkie Camp for the day.

Tonight I set her down a few feet from the pad and said "Go use your potty pad." And she did! Later we were playing in the kitchen when she took off running down the hall and disappeared into the bathroom. She needed to poop and went straight to the pad. Major victory here since she has been pooping wherever she happens to be when she feels the urge. She used the pad two more times without any prompting tonight.

I know this is only one victory in a much larger war but this day will go down in T's blog for sure. Apparently the praise for good behavior is making an impression even though she seems indifferent to it.
