I just want to say I think that you know best and I'm sure you are doing and will continue to do what is best for Carlo. You know him better than anyone and only you will know when he's had enough. Try not to let the fear of the future change the joy that you have with him now. I went through something similar with my pointer years ago. Just enjoy every day you have together now.
