i've been feeding kiwi acana sine i brought her home, but lately i realized that she doesn't eat RIGHT away when the food is out (is it because she's not interested in her food anymore??) and she doesn't finish her food.

on the bag, it says for her age range (almost 9 months + 2lbs) , she should be given 2/3 cup per day. because she can't finish it i decided to give her 1/2 cup instead, and she still DOESN't finish it. i am feeding her 2x a day right now. once at 9am and once at 6pm.

i am also wondering is it because i don't walk her often? I usually take her out for a walk when i get off work and at night around 7-9pm. 15-20mins walk each.

so my question is.. should i just free feed to leave her eat whatever she can throughout the day OR switch food brand (even tho acana is one of the best i've heard) OR feed her less than 1/2 cup?

any advice would be helpful!!
