Thanks Donna, I think in all breeds eyes are a key. But for Yorkies I agree just what you say, especially that mischeviousness LOL.

In our working breed eyes are very key. Today we were training some young adults 7-9 mths old, initial visit of me the stranger was okay, but the master trainer and I were looking at the eyes, and well er um, not too good. So we pressed the issue, second time okay, third time okay, for a visit an pet by me , fourth time., snarl and a snap.

Correction of course, and let's do this exercise again. It will be done again and again, because this working breed must submit to examination, to real world people meeting.

For me Yorkies with what should be an intrepid temperament, should stand eager, inquisitive, and very secure, when the judge walks by. Willing and able to meet the judge eye to eye.

I've not noticed Razz's ears too much, I'm ashamed to say. Other than I've never seen his ears down or laid back in the ring.

At home he has a whole volumne of expression with his ears.
