I'm not really sure why she doesn't do stairs. I have never encouraged her and they are somewhat steep. Anyway, I like it that way. This way, when we leave her alone in the house, we close a few doors and she only has a few rooms to roam where I know she will be safe. My previous Yorkie went up these stairs but stopped going down after she had an accident. The pizza man was delivering. She got really excited, ran down the steps, missed one and tumbled into the wall. I always say the soul of my first yorkie in in my second one since they were born on the same day-15 years apart!! So maybe that has something to do with it.
