When I first started grooming Zhoie (14 wks), I had the screw on blade trimmer, later on found out I definitely wanted the snap on, so went the Oster. I really like it, it's very sturdy too.

This is snap on..I will have to invest in a pricier one later on if I find this one is not up to par! I just ordered a grooming video, Hopefully it will be helpful too!
