I'd suggest you get a referral to an ophthalmologist at some point. Dogs with KCS are prone to other eye problems like corneal ulcers, uveitis and infections. Tear stimulators like Cyclosporin and Tacrolimus actually encourage infections as they are immune suppressants.
Neo-Poly-Dex is actually an anti-inflammatory antibiotic so KaCee must have had something else going on - an ulcer, maybe? They are very common when a dog is first diagnosed. You will only use it for a week or so.

Thank you for that link, Ladymom. I actually came across that in my google search earlier today. He mentioned that she had an infection in her eye as well, so that must be what the Neo-Poly-Dex is used for. I will ask about an ophthalmologist referral after I see how things go on Thursday. I used the search function on that website you provided and it looks like the nearest specialist is about 5 hours from me.
