Hello. I am hoping that you could clarify a few things that are mentioned in your sales agreement/guarantee.

I see that you to not guarantee you dogs against LP and state that the owners is to assume responsibility for a dog should it arise. LP is generally an inherited disorder that one can screen against. I am curious as to why you would hold the owners responsible for this?

Also, I see that you offer a replacement puppy, not a refund, ONLY if the dog is diagnosed with a "life threatening illness." Unfortunately, with this breed, there are many issues common issues that may not be life threatening, but that are very dehabilitating, expensive and invasive to correct surgically. LP and liver shunt, for example, which are both inherited. Why would you, as a breeder, not take at least partial responsibility for any pups you produced, should they be diagnosed with such an issue?
