You should absolutely tip, just like you would your own hair stylist or waiter.

I used a mobile groomer and she charged $49. I paid a total of 60, so a little more than 20 percent. She was well worth it.

Now, since I have 3, I have invested in some good electric clippers, shears, nail clippers, hands free hair dryer, grooming arm, instructional DVD, etc, to do it myself. I can't believe how much longer it takes me than it used to take her! But, with 3, I really need to economize and although it is time consuming, it really isn't difficult. Just takes the right tools and some practice.

But, yes, if you find a great groomer, show them your appreciation and they will always work with you.
