Both my kiddos are $45, and I leave $5 each for tip... so in total, I give her $100 per visit. At Christmas, I give her an additional $100 gift.

I tipped more when I was going to PetSmart and using a groomer there for a short time, but the lady who grooms mine now is the owner of the business and I always heard you don't tip an owner... however, this feels funny to me, so I still tip but not as much.

I have given more in the past for certain things, like when I got back from vacation once they were super knotty, so I gave her extra knowing she had to work harder to untangle them... once when I was changing foods they had impacted anal glands and she took care of that for me, so I tipped her extra since its not a pleasant job and would have cost a lot more if I had to take both to the vet.
