Chewie is six months old, and I'm just now feeling like we've got a pretty good handle on the potty-training (and we've been at it since he was three months).
I totally echo Rachael. I still use a leash at potty-time, otherwise Chewie gets distracted, and I always tell him to go potty (and then go poop, depending on the time of day). And praise every time he does it right.
Hang in there! It might not come easily, but the best things in life are rarely easy!
