That is the saddest thing I have ever heard.
It is amazing to me how human beings can be so incredibly cruel.
Especially to animals who have no voice and are so loyal even when they've been wronged. I hope that you are able to take this poor baby..even if the lady does seem shady, take her away from that aweful life and give her a loving place to call home. Good luck to you!
