Default Owner needs re-training

How do I get my 2-Yorkies to stop chewing my cabinets. They just started doing this which has forced me to leave them in a x-pen when I leave now. They have not done this in the past. My male is 13 months old and my female is 10 months old. I want these two Angels to be able to roam in the house all day without having to gate them but can't seem to get my male to quite lifting the leg and then the female sometimes will hit the potty pad if it pleases her to do. How can I break these bad habits? I work 5 days a week leave the house about 6 am and usually dont make it back home till 5pm or later. I had both of them trained (somewhat) on the pad. I take them put in the morning and when I get home in the afternoon. I stay outside in the afternoon for them to get their energy out and play with them for a while when we go back in. I let them roam in the house till bedtime. Then I put them in another room in the x-pen.
Who needs training, me or them. What am I doing wrong here?
Well I will attach a photo later, tried doing (2) and neither would attach.
I guess I can't do nothing right!
