Buster is recovering from surgery and the notes from the hospital says that reduced frequency of bowel movements is typical after illness, anethesia, surgery, and can also be a side effect of the pain medication. The said you can give a small amount of vegetable oil mixed in each meal ( one half teaspoon for a cat and up to 3 teaspoons for a big dog) This should produce a stool within 36 hours. As an alternative Laxatone paste can be obtained from your general vet is what they suggested. I am glad your sweet Daisy is doing better. Buster and I send healing thoughts and prayers.
