I had an appointment for Howie scheduled, but unfortunately, work got extremely busy, and I wasn't able to leave early as I had planned. However, when I got home, it wasn't as red, and a coworker told me she put some neosporin on her dog, and it may help. I did that, watching to make sure Howie wouldn't lick it!...and the next day, it was better!!! It scabbed up, and half of the "scabbed" part has fallen off already.
I am still really curious as to what it was that caused the rash. If it were a staph like some of you thought it may be, would it have gone away just like that? |
Keep an eye on that area. Staph lesions will get a crusty scab, but that doesn't mean it is cleared up. It will just spread.
