Default Skitish Puppy

Jillian jumps and wiggles and wants to give me kisses. Jackson acts just as excited but he does not give kisses and about half the time now he does not let me pick him up. He is skitish and has been the whole time we have had him (a whole 3 months). His breeder had 2 litters at once and a problem with one litter. She had to help with some feedings and his litter did not get the human interaction like she normally gives. He does watch Jillian though and I am super patient with him so he is learning that it is a benefit to let us interact with him.

If anyone has any suggestions that I can use to help him continue to get over his skitishness I welcome them.

I love them both to pieces. He just is trying to wrap me around his paw in a more subtle way. It is working too because I would do almost anything to make him happy and comfortable.
