For me, allergies can cause my eye to twitch - it's so annoying and it happens 24 hours a day when the pollen counts are high. I found that taking antihistamines and using antihistamine eye drops really can stop it from happening. Benadryl works the best for me but I am asleep for two days if I take it so I usually try something else like zyrtec D unless I am desperate. The drops are great though too.
