I have to agree. I had a female cat for 17 years and she was definitely a standoffish cat, but very sweet, just on her terms. My cousin has two cats, one male, one female, both extremely sweet but Mojo, the male, is much more affectionate. He comes to the door meowing loudly and greets you like a dog.
