 NO Poop Today..???
Ok.. first off I feel horrible because I am the one that caused this little stomach upset.. Long story short.. I have been trying a new food, The honest kitchen. It was working wonderfully but then I tried a sample of a new formula along with the old formula... well Let me tell you we have about 8 poops that day...
Something was not agreeing with her at all.. Well I called The Honest Kitchen and they said some of their formulas have a large amount of flaxseed in them and some dogs aren't able to tolerate it. Well poor girl has not had diaherra yet but some extra soft poopies.. and to many poopies...so I have been feeding boiled chicken and rice the last 24 hrs to give her stomach a break
Well I called my vet today and told her what was going on..she said the chicken/rice combo was a good idea because her stomach is so upset. She also recommended a stool sample but well that is our problem we have had NO poop today..
Tonight I gave her some pumpkin hoping that would help. I KNOW its not a blockage. She is with me 24/7 and I know she didn't get into something. She is drinking water, has pottied all day.. but NO POOP... She is acting like her normal silly self.. I just am starting to get nervous... any ideas? |
