They have on safety harnesses attached to their leashes, and then I make the leash short by wrapping and tying it to the handle bars I put a towel and then a baby blanket over that to make it comfy
They have not attepted to jump out so far, they just kind of enjoy the ride. I think they realize they are strapped in and can't really go anywhere.
