Ben was always 4 pounds until he was neutered and now he is gaining weight on me. I will nip that in the bud but he is at least 4.5 lbs now. Annie is only a puppy so 2 pounds at 4 months is too early to say.

Each dog is different though -- you need to feel for ribs. If the vet told you he is fine and the right size, then his bone structure is just a little bigger than some. I would not make him diet in order to reach a smaller weight. Vets are usually pretty conservative and will tell you if they are heading for obesity. If he is extra muscular and very active, that sometimes adds some weight too -- good weight. Some are petite and some are larger. You just have a little larger yorkie -- more to love.
