as far as breed stock... YOU are exaclty right... who sets the standard in that case????

hobby breeders will make money only if they cut corners... anyone that has considers themself a breeder (a good one) will tell you there is no money to be made at breeding... with the cost of food, shots, meds, vet certs, OFA's, and everything else you need to do it right... the money is long gone before you ever have a puppy... this does not include the shows and travel that is involved to do all of this... we breed dogs... VERY SELECTIVELY... and I can reassure you this cost us 4x more than you make by selling a litter of puppies... if your breeding to try to make money than you are breeding for the wrong reason... in my oppinion...
