As far as 5 months go, that depends on you and the puppy. Some pups actually pick things up really quick, some are stubborn little things. If you're consistent, stick to a daily schedule, and have lots of love and patience, I'm sure it can be done.

I was also wondering if anyone has a Maltese? if so, what are the major differences between the breeds? Our family dog is one (she's 16!), and I love her. I'm leaning more towards a yorkie but since I never had a yorkie, I would love to know any differences between the two. Thank you!
