Without giving away any more proprietary information than I already have (LOL), the short answer is yes. It's a very long story, but I didn't just buy the ingredients and slap them together.

And, I would like to once more address the pH issue, since it has been nagging at me. There are many more things at play on the skin than simply pH level. A wide range of pH levels are perfectly safe (up to a little over 10 and down to below 4) - there really is no reason to choose one product over another based on pH level alone. It's really the free alkali and in poor quality soaps that make them harsh. Again, I mention the pH level because no one else really does, and it's good information to know.
