Default What makes a breeder good vs bad? Hobby vs BYB?

To me it seems pretty obvious:

A good breeder:
Breeds for the betterment of the breed.
Shows to get approval of breeding stock.
Does health testing of all dams/sires prior to breeding.
Provides a comprehensive health guarantee.
Is very selective about who their pups go to.
Has an open door policy to prevent their pups from ending up in shelters.
Sells only on spay/neuter contracts.
Spends years studying genetics of their breed.
Understands that they are responsible for creating this new life- and therefore, they are responsible for the quality of that life.

A bad breeder:
Breeds for profit.
Breeds the "flavor of the month" cross breeds.
Doesn't perform health testing.
Has minimal or non-existent health guarantees.

A hobby breeder:
Doesn't show, but breeds only to standards.

A BYB:
Makes excuses for why they don't do all those other things.
